Why does this exist?

well...

• unlike simondmc.com this subdomain is hosted on firebase and I'm testing their hosting (and plan on switching eventually)
• i can do dumb stuff here like completely break all links by adding .html to everything in prod and nothing will be affected (never forget the events of 2022-06-25)
• idk having a dev prefix kinda sounds cool? im running out of arguments
• i may or may not have commited multiple federal crimes already haha
